Race Week!

Hello all!

We are in the home stretch of the big race weekend!  Please find a way to help out as all the proceeds from this event go directly BACK TO THE TRAILS in St. Cloud.

Here is a quick shake down of what is going on this week.

Tuesday (17th): Trail work, 5:30 at the North Loop.
Friday (20th): race set up at the North Loop, starting around 2.
Saturday(21st): High School race, volunteers needed for numerous positions, mostly the concessions.  We hope to have the grills fired up by 11 and word is there will be 300+ hungry racers so if you have some time please stop by and help out.
Sunday (22nd): Our race.  Lots of help needed: parking, registration, on course Marshall's, finish chute, food sales, raffle sales, etc.  Please come lend a hand if you can.  There are two shifts 8-12, 12 to 4.

Email if you have any questions.,

Also, if you can't help out please consider making some baked goods for us to sell at the concessions on Saturday and Sunday.  Bring them wrapped in single servings and ready to go.  We plan to see this for $1.00 a piece so make it a good portion.  Drop off at Revolution Friday and Saturday if you can't make it to the race venue.

Thanks again for all of your help to make this weekend happen!

The race courses (North Loop) will be closed on Friday mid afternoon through all day Saturday so please get out there and do your pre-race laps earlier this week.

Trail work Tuesday the 17th at 5:30

Hello all!

The final stretch coming into our race weekend.  We have a few things we need to clean up on Tuesday night to get our race course in tip top shape.  Please come out and help out as this weekend Sept 21 and 22nd is our big fundraiser for the trails.

Meet up at the trail head at 5:30.  Cold beverages will be provided!

We will also need volunteers throughout the weekend so please plan to help out if you can on Sept 22nd or for setup on the 21st.  Volunteer slots will be out soon.

If you can't volunteer please make up some baked goods to go along with our concession stand on Sunday.  We will be charging $1.00 per goody and if you could have it wrapped separately that would be fantastic!  Drop off at Revolution Cycle and Ski on Friday or Saturday for use Sunday or bring to the North Loop on Sunday.

Thank you and hope to see you on Tuesday night and at the races next weekend!

Nate, Mike R. and Sam placing a piece of wood in the re built switch back on Skid Row.

We had a great crew show up for trail work last night!  It was hot and humid and everyone was eager to dig in and get some work done.  So a HUGE Thank you to Mike R. , Mike S., Sam, Nate, John S., Kyia, Ben D, and 2 SCSU dudes!

The Sport Spur and Lay It Down got brushed and we got the first switch back on Lay It Down re-built.  There will be more work nights to finish this re-model after the race.

A big shout out to Jeff Bauerly for donating some Class 5 rock for our construction efforts.  So Thanks to Jeff and Knife River!

Things are looking super sharp for the race's on the 21st and 22nd.   We will have a volunteer email coming out soon so please consider helping out as this is our big fundraising weekend!
